Important Changes to the Leo Cussen Institute Practical Legal Training Course in 2009

Leo Cussen Institute would like to inform exiting law graduates intending to practise as an Australian Lawyer of important changes to its Practical Legal Training Course (both onsite and online) in 2009.

As most of you will be aware, Leo Cussen Institute has a proven track record of legal training since 1972. Successful completion of the course will make you eligible for admission to practise as an Australian Lawyer. Leo Cussen Institute's Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (onsite or online) is particularly suited to those seeking quality and comprehensive training, as the course is widely recognized as such by the legal profession.

Important changes are as follows:

  • FEE-HELP is now available to eligible students.
  • Two courses are scheduled for 2009.
  • Mid year intake is now available.
  • The course length is now a half year (semester). Thus, while your path to be eligible for admission as an Australian Lawyer is more intensive, it is now shorter.

Onsite course dates for Semester 1 are January 27 – June 19. Semester 2: July 13 – December 4.
Online Semester 1 commences two weeks later. Semester 2 commences June 1.
To request an application form for Semester 1, 2009 contact Sophie Lambrou, PTC Administrator: (03) 9602 3111.
